Lilburn Alliance Church
Birth - grade 5

Children really
matter to us at Lilburn Alliance Church. We believe this so much that over
30 volunteers and a Director invest significant hours every week to prepare
our next generation to reach the heart of God in worship and celebration of
life dedicated to a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Imagine raising
kids who can meet the challenges of their generation and be leaders of hope
because of their wholehearted following after Jesus. Think of a place where
children have so much fun learning about how Awesome God is that they don’t
want to miss a single time of meeting together.
Children at LAC
learn the characteristics of God from creative Bible lessons most relevant
to their everyday needs and learning experiences. Throughout the week they
explore three big questions, “Know what? So what? Now what?” during Sunday
School, Children’s Worship at the 11:00 hour, and Wednesday night Pioneer
Clubs.
Sunday School –
9:45 AM
Qualified and loving teachers conduct classes up in the Tree House area of
our building. Three mixed age primary classes allow children 4yrs - 6yrs to
begin to build a sense of community and cooperation as they learn together.
Our fifth grade class studies Christian Doctrine in the Fall of each year
and many baptisms take place at the conclusion of this time.
Children’s
Worship – 11:00 AM
Children in prek – 2nd gr. stay in the Tree House or come to room
255 for a large group time that includes all the elements of the adult
Worship Celebration but on their level. Then they break out into teams to
explore the “Big Idea” further. Students through the fifth grade are
welcome to remain with their parents during the adult worship time.
Pioneer Clubs –
6-8PM
Wednesday is Family Night at LAC. Beginning at 5PM a child friendly supper
is offered in the Fellowship Hall for a nominal fee. At 6PM the children’s
Praise Choir practices in the Sanctuary while the preschool chorus meets in
the in the preschool room just off the nursery welcome center.
Pioneer Clubs,
begin at the River with the adults in the Fellowship Hall at 6: 30 PM. This
is a time when everyone participates in worship based prayer and praise. At
a designated time the children leave for their club where they have Bible
exploration and award activities. They also enjoy spirited games and
scrumptious snacks. Their older siblings attend youth group and their
parents participate in various classes and groups before picking them up in
the Tree House at 8PM.
Children’s
ministries also sponsor quarterly outreach and service activities for and by
the children. Look for: Missions Festival Week in the Spring, VBS and
Family Fun Nights in the Summer, Pumpkin Patch Party in the Fall, All
Nations and Operation Christmas Child in the Winter. To find out more
