THE RIVER JOURNAL
The River is our worship-based prayer rally on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. However, this is like no Wednesday night prayer meeting you have ever been to! With no set agenda, members and visitors alike gather to seek the Lord through worship, prayer, the reading of Scriptures and ministry to those with special needs and requests. Below are journal entries from The River. Come and join us! You will be blessed.
PASTORAL CHALLENGE FOR 2007: Give corporate prayer a priority and seek God together in The River. The early church devoted themselves to prayer…it's got to be move beyond "convenient prayer" and there are things He won't do until we're devoted to Him in prayer. In The River, that we would decrease and God would increase.
Share Your Story: Has the Lord ministered to you in a special way as a result of your participation in The River? We encourage you to share your experience with us. Paul said, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ (Ephesians 4:15). Click here to use the "Count Me In" form to tell your story.
Note: These summaries capture how the Lord has moved corporately in The River. This journal doesn’t list the many ways in which the Lord ministers and speaks personally to those who come.
